For the first time ever, the 2024/2025 Western Basketball League is hosted at the Takoradi Mall, a historic moment for basketball fans in the region. The season tips off on Sunday 1 December 2024 at 3pm, with Vikings facing Lighters and TTU Oilers meeting Eff-Ess.
The opening day also brought a half-time performance by NIEW WRLD, and later game days had DJ Raekvibes on the decks.
